EL ANGEL CAIDO

"El Ángel Caído", una estatua que siempre me ha gustado.

Desde que era un crío, paseando por el Parque de El retiro, me quedé asombrado de que hubiera una estatua dedicada a tan infame personaje que, se supone, es el máximo enemigo de Dios (para los cristianos).

Durante toda mi vida he vuelto una y otra vez a ver la estatua, dibujándola, haciendo fotos... y esta vez me dio por dibujarla de memoria.

"The Fallen Angel", a statue that I always liked.

Since I was a kid, walking in the Park of El Retiro, I was amazed that there was a statue dedicated to this infamous character who, presumably, is the ultimate enemy of God (for Christians).

Throughout my life I have returned again and again to see the statue, by drawing, taking pictures ... and this time I got to draw it from memory.
